My Personal Protocol

4 Vitamin D capsules daily - cancer fighting properties

1 calcium with magnesium

3 Vitamin C capsules (3,000 units)

1 aspirin - it increases the width between blood cells, and makes it harder for tumours to form (studies show it has a 10% advantage in fighting tumours.

1 multivitamin

6 reishi capsules (present number). Studies indicate that it is between 45% and 50% effective as a cancer fighter.

7. 1 neem capsule a day (recently added)

8. Vitamin B6 to improve my blood levels (recently added)

liquid herbal concentrate blend (from my naturopathic computer assessor)

maple syrup, baking soda blend, with ginger powder and curcumin mixed within it. I take this daily but if I know that if I eat more acidic foods then I should or if I am visiting friends or eat in a restaurant I will take this mix twice a day. A very effective cancer fighter. Ginger causes cancer cells to enter a state of apoptosis to commit suicide and it also tricks cancer cells into eating themselves. Curcomin stimulates the development of T cells which attack tumours.

When I am between appointments to my natural health computer assessor and run out of herbal concentrate blends, I take flora essence Essiac, often for 3 or 4 weeks at a time.

I replaced regular coffee with Gano Express Cafe, Coffee. One or two a day (It has Reishi mushroom powder in it) and is reputed to be lower in caffeine then decaffeinated coffee.

No alcohol
No red meat
No processed foods
No sugar because cancer cells feed off sugar
No cheese because its acidic and has mould in it

I have two tortilla wraps with fresh veg for lunch
Evening dinner - steamed veg with potatoes or brown rice

Breakfast, I alternate grapefruit and bananas, with steel cut oats.

I use cinnamon as a replacement for sugar.

I replaced regular salt with sea salt which is alkyline.

I replaced regular tea with green tea which is alkyline.

I treat ice cream or deserts or alcohol as foods of celebration and I eat them on special occasions but rarely.

I lean towards cancer fighting foods such as papaya and pineapple.

I eat a lot of vegetables - and have included foods high in vitamin B6 to boost my blood cell counts. eg. green bananas, plaintain, chickpeas.

4-6 almonds a day

Absolutely no sodas, (soft drinks or cola drinks).

I test myself with litmus paper to make sure that my system is alkyline.

Others: spices such as tumeric, black cumin, curry,
cinnamon, garlic, cayenne pepper and ginger

Cinnamon stops the proliferation of cancer cells.

Mission Statement

This blog is intended for the sharing of personal opinions. I make every effort to provide the source of information used. Please note that, as producer of this blog, I am not a medical caregiver or practioner nor do I have degrees or any formal education in the field of medicine. Like everyone who has gone down the road of naturopathic application, I draw from the successes I have experienced and from information acquired online and in books and in communication with others naturopathic adherents.

If you chose to follow information written in this blog, then please understand that it is entirely your journey and your choice to make.

And to those who are practioners of medicine, this blog is not intended as a personal criticism and references to my experiences must not be personally interpreted to represent any specific person.

The purpose of this blog is to encourage readers to be personally interactive with their medical caregivers and to examine, and apply if deemed worthy - whatever means possible for their recovery of health.

And finally, I give great credit to those who work tirelessly in the medical field, and who work within the limitations of their education, and experience, and expectations to the best of their abilities. Your work is valued and so necessary. I. have had many compassionate, and caring people in whom I have surrendered my trust - but not totally. For in the final analysis, I have determined that my journey is mine alone to take and my life is too important to me not to be personally involved in keeping.

Do you think that your cancer might have been created by a traumatic life experience?

Why the Fight?

When I fell on life's pathway as a victim of cancer, I decided that I was not going to be a victim. Victims are helpless. Victims are controlled. Victims lack the ability to fight. And, as I saw it, victims were the first to surrender.

This blog isn't as much about defining enemies as it is searching for information and knowledge. Knowledge empowers. It allows you to make choices and this in itself is liberating. You can chose to live with courage, or die with dignity. You illness can become your fight to make you an example of courage.

Fighting the System encourages you to write letters to us to share your success stories, or your frustrations.

And lastly, Fighting the System - speaks for no one system.
The path you chose to walk is your path, alone. You have to follow your heart for its your journey. But the journey is easier when we know the enemy we face and we feel that we have the freedom of making choices - even if the only choice is our freedom to understand our situation and chose our attitude.
